Free Safe Text Released to the Android Market
For Immediate Release
Free Safe Text- An Android app that helps keep people from texting and driving is now available in the Android market and in the company’s website effective February 29th, 2012.
The app is FREE of charge and comes up automatically when the GPS of the mobile phone senses the device moving above 10 miles per hour or a user selected speed.
In addition to the FREE app, the company – 3i Tech Works, Inc of Boca Raton is using a patent pending solution that tracks points. The points will be converted into rewards for the users of the app. Each time a message is received by the app and forwarded the user receives 10 points.
Save lives, earn rewards™ is the company slogan.
Distracted driving accidents now create a risk 23 times worse than driving while notdistracted (source: VTTI Virginia Tech Transportation Institute). One of every 4 teens admits to texting while driving.
This android app has many features that allows users to select the speed at which they want their GPS to turn on the app. Users can also select a Passenger mode that allows them to text if they are a passenger in a car.
The app actually delivers the message to the phone but does not disturb the driver. At the same time the app responds to the sender of the text to let them know that their message has been received and the message will be responded to later. This interaction allows the phone owner to concentrate on driving and reduces the risk of distracted accidents and eliminates the anxiety associated with having to respond to a message while driving.
“Ever since I started using the app in my mobile phone, I am totally relaxed knowing that my messages are being responded to in a timely manner and I can concentrate on driving.” says Joseph Riano, President and CEO of 3i Tech Works, Inc.
